Hi from Digital Rights campaign[]
hi folks I come to you from the onewebday site. Someone from here had posted there. Im from a slightly different community campaign but ive been looking for ways to cross connect with people with similar ways of working but perhaps a different focus. I am a linux user and member of the Australian linux community. We have been campaigning in support of free culture and against DRM and TPM which shut down access to knowledge. http://campaigns.wikia.com/wiki/Digital_Rights Ive put together this section in the campaigns wikia. I'm hoping to build a broader appreciation of the importance of access to information and the ability to interact with media to people for whom that is their practice but perhaps not their focus. We had software freedom day recently and promoted a lot of these ideas. It is on 16 September.
