A yardsharing arrangement is created to allow the members of a group to share resources to grow food locally together. Resources people share such as space, time, strength, skills or tools, do not always happen in one household. Gathering friends, neighbours, family or communities of interest together to grow food has a few other advantages. People can save money and time, eat better food which has fewer miles involved in it's growing. Yardsharing also deepens community and strengthens neighbourhoods.
